Rosco Bandana’s debut album “Time To Begin” brings a fresh new sound to the indie/Americana/folk rock scene. The seven piece band provides a feel good vibe to their music that will certainly instill uplifting thoughts and feelings within listeners. The album’s opening track “Time To Begin” has an upbeat, folk rock sound to it full of vocal harmonies that are reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac at times. The song also sets the tone for the rest of the album. Rosco Bandana displays a multitude of diverse musical talents and influences throughout their debut album. Soft and somber vocals and rhythms on “By and By” along with the trance like gypsy rock tune “EL Luna” represent the band’s wide range of musical talent and song writing ability.
“Time To Begin” is also the first album to be released on the newly created Hard Rock Records. Back in 2011, Rosco Bandana won Hard Rock Records “Hard Rock Rising Competition” in which they competed against more than 12,000 different bands. The group of seven close friends from Gulfport, Mississippi was soon sent off to Los Angeles to work with renowned producer Greg Collins on their debut album “Time To Begin“. Rosco Bandana spent this past summer embarking on small Midwest tour performing at various Hard Rock Hotel locations. With an incredible live performance that radiates feel good energy from start to finish, Rosco Bandana has been gaining fans everywhere they go.
